lovely Sunday I hope.   The mayor of Missoula, Mt.  happily is picking 
out the winning ticket for that fantastic original western 
bench............Prize No. 1  ............and the famous artist MOnte 
Dolack might come choose the winning ticket for Prize #2..the huge 
basket of doggie items...take a peek at it....size xl and l dog 
wardrobe, plus items like a first aid kit, western booties for dress up,

_If all goes well, I am planning on driving over to see my children and 
oldest grandson age 9....on Oct   6th ...Nick' birthday!! Plus they live 
in Shelton, Wash.and I believe there is a Basset specialty going on then 
right there in Shelton.   Is any DROOler....going there, too??

Our Yard Sale and RAffle is coming up soon, so anyone interested in some 
raffle tickets....just please do let us know. Every cent is going to 
keep this shelter going.  I have taken in a few seniors that are doing 
well, but no interest in any adoptions for months.     This is very sad, 
but true...as it is all around the country, too.   Our senior MInnie 
Mouse is now going blind.  Her eye meds that we need to give her has 
given her a year of good sight, but now her eyes are failing. Another 
trip to Spokane, WASH. for a visit with her eye specialist is needed and 
this Fundraiser will help with that.  My heart goes out even more to 
these poor old kids who get thrown away after they were caged and bred 
for 10 years..as Minnie was   ...She is my little angel.. She needs all 
our support for a good life.
