[Dailydrool] GasX in UK

Firstly, I want to thank everyone for their support when Rolph was sick last week. It is so wonderful to know there are people out there who care and don't just say "For goodness sake, it's just a dog".
Only Droolers know that bassets are not just dogs!
I am holding off on the stomach tack for a bit. I suspect it is probably a good plan, but a) I need to save some money as insurance won't pay and b) as it is so unusual in the UK, I don't want Rolph to be the guinea pig of a vet who's read it up and fancies a go. I will seek out a foreign vet with experience, or maybe a specialist from the Royal Veterinary College.

If there are any Droolers in the UK who think the habit of having GasX around to help in the event of bloat, I have found Windeze and Windsettlers are the same thing and can be bought from chemist shops or the supermarket for between £3 and £4.
I now have some in my bread bin (doesn't everyone keep their meds in the bread bin?).

Finally, I cannot believe the difference that removing wheat and gluten from Rolph and Clara's diet has made. Rolph who was keeping me awake all night scratching, is hardly scratching at all and Clara has improved a lot too, but is now the more likely to scratch.

Drool to all who need it
Sally, with Rolph and Clara, UK
