Dear Beth, I cannot begin to fathom all the things that are going 
through your mind right now.  Please know that if it were me, i would 
want to know.  This should not be left up to you.  When I have had to 
go anywhere, I leave instructions with all my vets to let my pet sitter 
or my friend or neighbor bring them in for treatment, cost is not the 
issue.  I call several times a day, no matter what has happened in my 
life.  I know people have hard times, we all do, but she needs to deal 
with this, hard as it is.  I could not live with myself if I had let 
someone else make that decision for me.  Take care of yourself and dear 
Emma, let her owner know and let her make the decision.  Non-refundable 
ticket be damned, this is her baby.  Know that you are a wonderful 
person for doing all you can for Emma.  My thoughts and prayers are
