[Dailydrool] Regarding Bed Covers for Rescue

How happy I was to see Angelika post that she will make bed covers for 
basset beds!  I special-ordered two from Angelika a few months back because 
I needed them, saw the concept in a well-known catalog, but knew in my heart 
that for anyone who could sew they would be a snap to make.  I gave her the 
measurements and voila!  In no time at all two lovely covers looking for all 
the world like the pricey ones in the catalog arrived on my doorstep.  They 
have been in constant use since then, washed and dried repeatedly, and still 
look as great as they did when they were brand new!  Not only is Angelika a 
talented seamstress, but she has a great sense of practicality and 
apparently a terrific source for reasonably priced fabrics.

This is a wonderful way to benefit basset rescue while getting something for 
your beloved hounds that you know you need anyway.  The covers can be made 
to fit either circular or rectangular beds and are much easier to put on and 
take off than covers with zippers, velcro or other fasteners.

I hope Angelika is inundated with orders, as it's a win-win for everyone.
