[Dailydrool] Teeth Cleaning

Anyone have experience with bassets' teeth cleaning without anesthesia?  Do not want Pixel (age 9 and in good health) to have undergo cleaning in the traditional way.  My niece had her cockers' teeth cleaned in this way--and was very pleased with the results.
