[Dailydrool] kitty

Cooper and Conley went outside very early this morning--barely light. I
happened to be standing in the front window and saw, to my horror,  running
full tilt across the street and pointed directly for my yard, one of the
regional black and white striped "kitties", which are perfectly capable of
getting under the fence. Remembering the last stench-filled encounter years
ago I went tearing out the back calling Cooper-- I KNEW he would come and if
he came so would Conley and I
got them in and then with the flashlight went cautiously out front and
scanned the horizon-- no skunk.
I then went out back and checked the "jungle".
I don't know where it went. This makes me almost more nervous than if it had
been right there in the yard.
The dogs are staying in for awhile.....
