[Dailydrool] Karen Sommerfield

Karen Sommerfield, who was a freind to every dog she ever met, passed away last night.
 
I never had the pleasure of meeting her in person, but her calls and emails were always a highlight of my day.  She was such a positive, reassuring presence.  And so quick to help when needed.  So many dogs owe their lives to her.  And living with the Northern Army must have been a paradise for them.  
 
Karen will be missed by the many whose lives she touched.
