BellyRubs in TN can commit to him IF someone will commit to fostering him.
We are packing, boarding dogs at the moment -- but we will take him if
someone in TN,KY,AR or MS will step forward to foster him. We cover all vet
bills, etc -- all the foster supplies is food and love. 

How about it, folks? Help us save an old guy?

Belly Rubs Basset Rescue

I received an email this morning about a Basset in a high kill shelter in
KY.  I have looked at KY rescues....4 The Hounds is not accepting any dogs
at this point and although I left a message for Bluegrass rescue I have not
heard back.  His name is Fred, he is approximately 10 years old, gets along
well with other animals, and is almost blind from cataracts.  He is on the
list to euthanize so fast action is needed if this boy is to be saved.  In
his picture he looks very grey, very thin and very sad.  Can anyone help????
