[Dailydrool] Belly button question

Yes... the belly button is normally on the underside of the hound, centered
between the landing-strip style rows of teats.
 
For a boy basset, its usually within an inch of the opening of his penis,
for the ladies, about two inches from the end of the rib cage.

There's two diagonal lines on her belly (zoom in) and you can see the tuft
of hair that's there, emanating from the belly button.

As to "hard" ... if you have or know of someone that would let you feel
their belly button... most dogs are "outies" or more flush with their
undersides (belly area)  It would be firm but shouldn't feel rock hard.. 
 
Anyway.. enjoy knowing the true belly button spot now..
