[Dailydrool] Basset Hound Boots

Does anyone put boots on their bassets before a walk in the winter time?
I've been thinking about it for my Fred, to keep his feet safe from the
snow, cold and salt.  Does anyone have experience with using shoes or
booties on their dogs?  If so, what brand, what size, and where were they
purchased?
