[Dailydrool] scent hounds, scent humans

No Angelika, I don't find that weird that you can tell your hounds apart 
that way. Every morning when I let my bassets out for their morning romp, 
they will hop up , put their front paws around me in a hug and I drink in 
the smell of their fur. I know I should not let them jump up, as sometimes 
they almost bowl me over, but I find it endearing. I think they all have a 
unique fragrance. I know they all have different textured fur. Maybe that 
has something to do with why we as basset fanciers are attracted to the 
breed. Even after baths with the same shampoo, they all retain their 
individual base scent. Maybe for every scent hound out there , there is a
