[Dailydrool] Maggie and the gum

Hello.  I just wanted to write and say a big thank you to all of the people that have ever written in about how to make a basset throw up with hydrogen peroxide.  My girl Maggie got loose in the house a bit ago and ate over 1/2 a package of my husbands gum that has Xylitol in it.  Instead of freaking out like I may have wanted to I calmly took her outside and poured some peroxide down her throat.  A few minutes later she vomited up the gum.  

I have been reading the drool for about a year now and have learned so many helpful things from all of you.  I really am thankful.  I am certain this information may have saved her life.  

She is doing the basset 500 with her sister Flash now and I am positive she is fine.  ahroooo
