When there are changes in housetraining, you really need to make a vet visit
the first agenda item. We get so many dogs into rescue where the family
says the dog has housetraining issues when in fact, they are sick and it is
out of their control. Sometimes it is incomplete housetraining, but most
often it is a medical issue that needs a vet's attention. The first step is
to have the urine analyzed. Some vets will even just let you drop off the
sample. If there is an infection, antibiotics will usually be very
effective. However, there are many other health problems that can cause
urinary incontinence so a vet visit will be very important.

Hope Cooper is feeling better soon!
