Beth..I loved your story of Blueberry  and the cop...  Homer  would have 
done the same, rolled over for a belly rub...but not Sammy... He'd  viciously 
attack anyone who comes near me unless I bend down to say "this is a  
friend", or if the person has brought him a food offering!   Sammy is  half basset 
half king charles... The food half is basset!
