Jenny, I use a mandolin slicer to prepare the sweet potatos, then I use the dehydrator I got for Christmas. You can purchase one online from Walmart for as little $40. I have a batch drying now. I use them for human snacks because of the blood sugar leveling properties. You can get a mandolin slicer for $20+ depending on what you want to spend.

Hello and Happy New Year Droolers,
I am making sweet potato treats right now and Charley and Connor are sending buckets of drool to all of the houndies and their slaves that need it.
I peel the sweet potatoes and then cut them 1/3 inch thick lenghtwise. I also cut some in circles. I am baking them at 250 degrees for 2 hrs minimum.
I would love to know what other droolers use to slice their sweet potatoes as it is VERY hard to do it..!
love and drool,
Jenny
