Hate to have to dispute ... but Aspirin __is__ on the list of NSAIDs, and
does have a long history of anti-inflammatory use ... Arthritis.

The part about buffered aspirin ... that's true, helps stop any upset
stomachs, the intention to also stop or negate the potential for ulcers or
other issues ... never give on an empty stomach would be my motto..

Aspirin is not an anti-inflammatory I'm afraid, just a pain killer/fever
reducer.
