[Dailydrool] Pancreatitis outbreak?

What is with the recent rash of Pancreatitis?  My Harley developed a minor case of it recently and she had to be put in the Vet Hospital for a nite.  Then she had Baytril, Metranidazole, and some prescription food for a week.  Poor kid was so sick.  And now Im hearing about so many other fur babies with pancreatitis.  Why the suddent epidemic?  For the record....Harley hardly ever gets people food (Christmas and her Birthday only, and even then in small amounts).  Any clue as to why it has been affecting so many recently?
