This isn't strictly basset related but we just want to send drool to all the families who have recently lost a kitty.  I am not a cat person.  I am somewhat allergic to them so have never had them until now.  I am keeping my son's cats while he is away at school.  They can be pains in the butt. They don't always get along with the dogs but mostly do.  They have more hair than all four bassets.  My son is not getting them back.  I love those little things. Picasso and Ninja were sleeping cuddled together yesterday.  Maggie knocked Picasso out the back door today cause she had to pee and he wouldn't move.  What I'm trying to say is that cats are special.  
 
We are so sorry that so many kitties have had to go to the bridge.  We are sending drool and kitty purrs to all who have lost a kitty love.  I couldn't imagine a house with four dogs and the cats.  Now I can't imagine a house without them.  
 
Ninja--Dey awright, dose kitty fings.  Jus no claws to da snooter.
Marley--I jus wan da kitty fings ta stay outta my way.  
Maggie--Dose white fings are ok.  dey need to mob fasser when I gotta pee. 
Shelby--Where are da treats?  I need a treat and a nap.  
Mom--Maybe we all need a nap.
