[Dailydrool] Bassets - Hawaii

>From what I understand Hawaii requires a mandatory boarding period of any
dog/cat entering the state.  It used to be six months but I think it was
shortened.

So if you adopt a basset from a rescue California -
Who will pay for the cost to ship the basset to Hawaii?
Who will be responsible for the boarding fees?
After the mandatory boarding period, what if the adopter changes their
mind?
What if the adoption doesn't work out and the family returns the dog?

Just a couple of thoughts...
