When our Cat Camy went to the bridge in December I noted a difference in our Chilliepepper.Camy was already about 5 when Chillie came to our house and than 2 years later Elvis joined us too. They all got along very well and Chillie and Camy played when Chillie was a buppy.Later they just never bothered each other. When Elvis went to live with my daughter Angelika I noticed that Chillie and Camy got closer .When Camy became ill and was on her way to the bridge, Chillie laid right next to her and for days after she looked for her, because I took Camy to help her to the bridge,so Chillie did not know where she was.I know she still misses her but with Chillie not being well herself and worrying about her Daddy I believe she got over this faster.
The real test for Chillie is next week, when we go to Angelika's house and Chillie's Mom Pw. Ms.Brandy is not gonne be there.Chillie would never try to get thru the doorway if Brandy would be laying there. She had respect for her and her growling.I personally believe that an animal grieves just like we humans do,except they show it differently.
Drool to all in need and cyberhugs to everyone who lost a companion.

Hanni slave to Chilliepper and sometimes Elvis+ Bonita (African grey 22+ Destiny 7)
