[Dailydrool] Update on Bo

Thank yous to all who have sent Drool and good wishes; this community keeps me going when the going gets tough. Bo came home from the vetspital this afternoon, pumped up with fluids, antibiotics, steroids, metronidazole, and special "appetizing" food for hospitalized dogs. He is home on all of the above for a week of R&R, then must report back in for surgery. During this past bout of ulcerative colitis, he apparently strained and pooped so hard for so long that he herniated the muscle around his sphincter, and various parts of his constitution (like his bladder and prostrate) migrated into territories where they do not belong. So he needs some major rearranging and restitching when he is strong enough to undergo same. In the meantime he is napping. Bo's brother, Harley, was thrilled to see him, as were we. And so it goes.
