Hello Droolers! This is the Momslave Cyndi. Been enjoying reading all your Houndie stories! I identified with the one about the dogs trying to wake you up at 3:30 a.m. or some other undogly hour! My dogs will do that from time to time. I guess their stomachs are growling. I get up during the week at 4 a.m. which is when they get their breakfast so they wake up on the weekends at 4 a.m. also and want their breakfast. I have learned to stumble around half asleep and get it for them so I can go back to bed and sleep in. They don't know the difference between weekdays and weekends. There have been times that they wake up at 3:00, 3:30 and even 1:30 a.m. and want their breakfast. I have to put my foot down at 1:30 a.m. and would have to go with giving them a treat to tide them over but once all 4 dogs get stirred up and decide they want breakfast, my husband and I have found that we might as well get up and give it to them if we want to get any
further rest. Like someone else said they will get up on the bed, stand on your chest, push you with their snout, bark, jump, you're not going to get any sleep until you give them their food so you might just as well do it. I tried yelling at them to go back to bed and go to sleep but that just seems to get them stirred up even more. What can I say, my husband and I are very well trained.

Healing drool to all the hounds and slaves in need!
