[Dailydrool] young basset and squirrels.and selective hearing.

First of all when she has a squirrel in her  radar she shuts off her   hearing and she won't stop.  I know cuz when in Airdrie Miss Becky was after rabbits and gophers and while I was yelling she kept going and the poor rabbit didn't know what the barking machine that was after him was all about. I even thought about getting a megaphone. Of course the rabbit was safe but they tune you right out.Right threw cowpies and pure mud they go  Now this young lady is  a year and a half AND hate to tell you this but it took to age 11 for Miss Becky to even look back to see if I was behind. In the city she would do the flat basset in middle of road too and I'd have to push her.
However if a rabbit or gopher showed up she was gone.................
So good luck.
Put a very long leash on her ????
