[Dailydrool] Attempting to figure out titles

I have been perusing the Daily Drool dictionary attempting to figure out the qualifications for various titles. I am uncertain whether or not I have succeeded, so thought I'd run my decipherings by the general membership for corrections and additions. My hounds and I have been Drool members for about three years, I think, so I have missed discussions of topics before this time. Here is what I think I understand. Do I?

1. PW--stands for Pwincess or Pwince. The dictionary says that this category "refers to a hound's training achievements". PIT stands for Pwincess or Pwince in training. This sounds like an award for hounds who have managed to bring their slaves under a degree of control that most non dog-owners would find shocking. A skill at getting humans to cater to the dog's every need. (How is this different from a "Diva", which is not in the dictionary?) (And I am guessing this title does not refer to hounds who have taken ribbons in agility courses, dog shows, service fields, obedience trials--not that kind of training achievement? Are these latter paragons of dog virtue called anything? )

2. OEBE--stands for "Order of the Evil Basset Empire". From my readings, it sounds as though this category refers to hounds who have excelled in naughtiness and destructiveness in some remarkable way (and are over a year old, since naughtiness and puppyhood overlap a lot). OEBE's get to choose an appropriate title of naughtiness, and their membership roster is maintained by Roland, Duke of Ears.

3. BABES--the dictionary says this stands for "Basset Angels Being Extraordinarily Sophisticated". Okay, guys, you've got me on this one. I presume a basset angel is one who is extraordinarily loving and well-behaved (for a basset), but I'll be darned if I can figure out how a basset acts "sophistocated", never mind "extraordinarily sophistocated". Help please.

4. King or Queen--not in the dictionary, but I think this refers to the top fund-raiser, male or female, for a particular Waddle event. Once a King or Queen has served, he or she retains the title indefinitely. In some Waddles, the king and queen get to head a parade in a motorized vehicle of some sort, wearing crowns.

Aside from Roland, Duke of Ears, I am not sure who manages the rosters for Pw's or Babes. Clarification please.

Are there titles I have missed?

If my understanding of Pw is correct, in a separate post I will yield the computer to one of my hounds, Bo, who wishes to apply.

Aloha to all, Val, Bo, and Harley
