[Dailydrool] thundershirt not working - what next

Mr. Gus ATB (standard Dachshund) was terrified of storms, he'd get so upset
that he'd be in a total hysterical frenzy for hours, and there was nothing
you could do to slow him down or calm him.  We tried all kinds of herbal
remedies and over the counter things that the Vet suggested but nothing
helped, so the Vet finally gave me Vallium to give him when we had storms.
I experimented and found the least amount that would work, it basically
knocked him out so he would go to sleep.  I'm not a big fan of prescription
drugs and would much prefer something herbal, but Vallium was the only thing
that helped him.  Sister Anna and Sister Holly are both afraid of storms,
but not like Gus was.  The two girls each get a Valerian Herb capsule any
time storms are coming and they do fine.  You can also try Dramamine (the
regular kind, not the non-drowsy), but if nothing helps, ask your Vet.
