Melissa,

I so understand the ewww factor here!    The fact that it was still active 
when it came up just adds to it.

Our Jenny swallowed a fruit rat...still alive before our eyes once.....amid 
a lot of screaming for her to drop it.......alas, it was not activve once we 
got her to toss it back up 5 minutes later after some hydrogen 
peroxide......

They keep saying we should be getting rain here,  but nothing but a lot of 
clouds at our house.  Of course, in FL  the rains can be horrid just a mile 
away and never touch your house.
