[Dailydrool] Wagging Tails

We have a variety of wags going on here. Shadow and Jersey both do the
propeller wag. However Shadow, who is a very petite basset, will do a whole
body wag when she's very excited. Jersey's tail will propeller for a minute
then she generally flops down onto her back. Belly rubs are far more
important to her than wagging her tail. Ginger's tail is set very low and is
a swisher. Suzy's tail is the one to watch....if it goes straight up,
everyone knows that there is a squirrel, bird, bunny, etc. in the yard that
is supposed to be free of all living creatures other than the basset patrol.
We always kind of wonder if she knows that the creatures that she's chasing
would probably kick her butt if she ever caught one. Fortunately, none of
the Houndettes have ever brought us a present, but they do try hard.

We have certainly had our ups and downs with getting Suzy house trained.
Fortunately we found out soon after she came to us that she is incontinent
and just plain doesn't have the ability to hold her urine like the rest of
the Houndettes. Even on medication, she easily has to go out two times to
the rest of the packs one. Of course, we live with a bunch of divas and, if
it's raining, puddles outside equals puddles inside!

Ginger continues to work on her OEBE title. It has been very hot here so the
girls aren't going out as much as they normally do and they are bored. So
far today, Ginger has shredded a whole roll of TP (although I do think she
had some help from Shadow), scored an egg salad sandwich, chased one of our
poor old cats a couple of times, made Jersey so upset that she put Ginger on
her back twice and has been a PITA in general. She may have to go outside
and stay there no matter how warm it gets if she keeps this up!

Hoping Chumley's grandma improves and his DadP has a safe trip to Kentucky.
Drool to all in need.
