Now we dun discussin da wedder. Brudder Elwood gots impawtant problum rite here at me home. Dis been a goin on a couple weeks nowz, and I bin a hopin da problum would jus be disappearin, but oh no, it worrser. I tellz youze me troublez. I bee ventin out me earflaps. Take deep breath in da snooter.

Momma take big bowl outta da foodroom and seyz she a goin to da garden. I press me paws togedder, meebee todey I get bunnie. So here come Momma, she gotz da bowl oberflowin but dat ain't no bunnie.
She gotz SQUASH. Yeller ones, green ones, big onez, liddel onez, and she hab da nerb to say Brudder Elwood all dis squash fur youze houndies. I plant extra fur youze to enjoy.

Out come da biggie pot. She chop da squash. She tie rope on a chicke neck drag it round da pot callz dat flaburz, and she put dis smashed up squash on me kibble.

Brudder Elwood berry relieved. It gonna go somewhere odder dan me bowl. Brudder Elwood gib Momma liddel smile. Den she seyz why Brudder Elwood, I bee a freezin da squash fur youze enjoymentz all winter.
