Dear Debra,
I was unsure if I should express an opinion about your situation, but since I have just read two posts that parallel what I was thinking, I will concur.  I believe Marcie loves you, and you have a bond.  I truly believe dogs are psychic, and maybe she is just worried about YOU!!!  I think, if you are able, to keep her would be the happiest place for her.  My recent rescue is a little over a year, and still so full of puppy energy, and I agree, in time, Marcie will calm down.  I wish I were closer because she could play date with my crew ANYTIME.  Please hug her for me, and I hope it all works out.
