A few weeks ago I asked fellow droolers for advice about floor steam cleaners. I received lots of info ( thank you, thank you, thank you!!!) and ended up buying the ( new version) Shark S3501. It was around a $100 and is easy to use, light to carry and has a looong cord. I lOVE it! I vac the floors first- I have hardwood and tile floors. Then I steam clean. There are two versions- I got the one with the extra large floor attachement. There is a triangular one that is great for the tight corners in the bathrooms. It heats up and is ready to use in just seconds. Really does a great job and dries very quick. I have no concerns about using it on my woodfloors as they are sealed and a puddle of pee is far more 'wet' than this thing makes it! I feel great knowing that any 'oopses' that were not completely cleaned when they happened are steamed away. The covers for the pads are washable. This is meant for floors only- it does have an attachment so you can freshen carpets- but will not clean carpets it says. Have not tried it on carpet.

I found it online at Bed Bath and Beyond and at Sams's club.

I hope someone else finds this info useful.
