[Dailydrool] Good news, thanks to Laura Tancredi

I have terrific news to share. A few Drools ago, I posted asking if anyone knew of a way to find the new medicine prescribed for our bum-butt Bo for less than $400/month (not really affordable for us), and Laura put me onto VetCentric, a service for veterinarians which allows them to prescribe to distant pharmacies and have medications shipped by these on-line pharmacies. I shared the info. with our Hawaiian vet and he has set us up with a pharmacy in New Jersey, Wedgewood Pharmacy, that will ship us the medicine we need for one quarter of the price we would have to pay here (and that is if we measured out the meds. ourselves; it would be one tenth! of the price if we had the pharmacy here do it for us). This is a HUGE savings, hundreds of dollars. I am so relieved, and so thankful. Thank you, thank you, thank you Laura. Bo also sends big snooters of gratitude. For those of you droolers who also live in remote areas, as I do, VetCentric may be a doGsend.
