[Dailydrool] Health problems with Basset Hounds

There are over 3,000 members on the DD list, most with multiple dogs, so probably close to 10,000 Basset Hounds.

There are a few members that write in with funny stories on a regular basis, but a lot of members don't post unless they have a problem and need help.  That is why it seems that there are a lot of sick Bassets.  But when you look at the total number of Basset Hounds it is a very, very small percentage that are ill.

There are a few problems that Basset Hounds have b/c of the way they are built, but almost every breed has some sort of breed specific problem.
