For the hound smell try bathing your hound in a good cleansing shampoo I
recommend D-basic and then a second wash with Chlorahexiderm shampoo which
helps kill the yeast bacteria, that bassets and other hounds are prone to.
Leave this on for 10 minutes.which is a long time with a wet soapy hound.
You can get this from a vet or from Dr. Fosters and Smith website. Hounds
are prone to skin yeast infections.
Oh yeah.If your hound has a yeasty smell then you will defiantly want to use
the D-Basic and chlorahexiderm shampoos and After petting them you want to
make sure that you wash your hands, (especially before you go to the
bathroom) if they has a yeast infection then it could spread to you as well.
Healing drool to all the sick hounds
