[Dailydrool] Velvet soft

I've been sitting here rubbing some velvet.  Or what feels like velvet.  Maggie is laying next to me with her feet up on me.  I have been stroking her back.  She is so soft and sweet.  She is such a big smoosh.  She needs lots of love.  Lots of affirmation that we care.  Mags spent most of the day outside bellowing at whichever dogs were outside.  She must have really tired herself out.  She has been on the couch for a while.  Has to  be touching somebody.  Her love tank never gets full.  Not sure what her life was like before we had her.  She is such a big beautiful girl.  Our baby.  She is having her before bedtime nap.  Needs to rest up before she goes to bed.  

 

Ninja is pouting on the donut under the cat table.  She is not happy when her momma gives loves out to other houndettes.  She is the queen and wants everyone to bow to her.  At least she is the queen of me.  Or she thinks she is.  That's ok.  I've never had a friend like her.  She takes very good care of me.  

 

Stroking a basset is very soothing.  Maggie likes keeping my blood pressure down.  

 

It has been a nice Mother's day.  Two two leggers are here.  Lots of basset hugs and kitty hugs.  

 

We hope all had a nice Mother's day.
