[Dailydrool] Another Sad Case for Looziana Basset Rescue

First, I'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to all who sent donations and  
prayers for Katherine, the little
Basset we took in recently, with mange & ringworm.  She is recovering  
beautifully and ready to move
to a foster home and eventually a forever home. She wouldn't have  
made it without you!

Our newest intake is Riley, another Hound who's survival is in the  
balance.
His owner dumped him at a shelter near New Orleans yesterday.
He hasn't eaten in a month and the owner claimed they didn't have the  
money to take him
to the vet, and requested that he be euthanized.  The shelter  
contacted LBR and he's now in
ICU, fighting for his life.
