[Dailydrool] Turn ACL Surgery

Anybody ever gone through this? Twinkie tore her ACL on Thursday. Vet says its "severely" torn.   We have an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow and are looking at surgery as soon as Wednesday.

My online research shows there are several methods of repair. One, called a TPLO, seems to be important if you have a working dog or your dog does agility. I am hoping we can do the (apparently old-fashioned) suture repair, mostly because cost-wise, it will be less expensive.

If you've done any of this, I'd like to hear about your experiences.
