[Dailydrool] Miss Angela snoozes

Bill here, press agent/personal trainer to Miss Angela Basset,
Droop and Drool Diva of Wichita and Sedgwick County

Glorious spring has arrived and I am spending much more time
outside.  However, Miss Angela is not as eager as I to get out!
She really enjoyed the brief, silent period between the end of 
Kansas Jayhawk basketball (all too soon) and the beginning of
the Yankee baseball season.  Now that the pinstripes are back
on the field, we watch all of the games that we can get out here
in flyover country.  Her uncle Chris is also a lifelong Yankee fan
(brought up on Long Island) so it gets loud when we watch. I
can tell that she does not appreciate that, but I make sure that
she gets extra belly rubs and ear skritches so that she can endure
the baseball season.  

Still, I wonder why, now that the doggie door makes it possible for
her to go out and lay in the sun or snooze in the shade, she does
not want to venture out more.  I just spend a couple of hours out
mowing the lawn and splitting a little wood for next fall and she 
only ventured out once, did minor business and came back in.  I 
guess she intends to be a house dog.
