[Dailydrool] To Buddy

Short lives are hard to handle.  I know Buddy will find Walker up there at
the Bridge, and have lots of playmates, while we left behind think how
bittersweet it is, these pups who pass along so quickly past us that we
barely have time to fall in love.
But we do.
Every time.
And isn't it great to know we still have the capacity to care for someone
who we don't know, that despite everything our hearts still reach out and
hold close the hurting and pain of others, in spite of the sorrow it causes
us. This is really what being human is.
Bless Buddy, for he has helped remind us of who we really are.
