[Dailydrool] Ron Burns art

there is a gallery here in massachusetts which is featuring Ron Burns' beautiful artwork and 50% of the proceeds will go to the Pet Rock Festival here in worcester.  Pet Rock is a day to benefit all rescues.  i am interested in purchasing his "madeline" canvas, of a beautiful basset (of course).  the price is $1250.00, the artist is taking 20% off, so the cost to me would be $1000.00, half of which goes to the artist, half to Pet Rock.
here's my question:  is there a basset rescue with a connection to Ron Burns?  i would rather have the money go to basset rescue, if it's possible.  please let me know if this is possible, as i have to purchase in the next week, if i do it here in worcester.
