[Dailydrool] Earthquake, Hurricanes---What next??

Momma here--yes we were rocking here at the beach---I was on the phone with a good friend at the time and I am sure she thought I had lost my mind. I was yelling the house is rocking, the ceiling fan is moving--I could see the room move--it scared the mess out of me--the hounds hauled it out the dog door like there was a bushel of biscuts on the other side--Brudder Elwood stood out there looking around, earflaps on alert--he swore Elder Clara was having a gas bomb attack that moved the earth--this event was just so odd for here. Phones went down, computers went haywire, the dogs came back in and looked about---the one thing I was so glad of was that I was not in one of the underwater tunnels or on a bridge here--they did shut them down and inspect them, they are the only way in and out of this area.
What the heck have we done to Mother Nature???
Now this hurricane---is there no end? This thing really has my attention, not only for the home front but also the working aspect. We have been blessed for years of near misses with hurricanes, but even a brush by the winds and rain leave us in trouble. Hubby is getting the generators ready, putting away anything that will fly or float, as I check food, water and all supplies. This time of year I keep extra bags of dog food and can goods ready. This weekend looks like it could be a long one---lets hope this thing pushes way east---

We are drooling for all in need, I have been in night school yet again-the days too long and the nights way too short---
