Oh boy!
My guys have a whole buttload of doggie books.
Cooper's favorite is Jean Donaldson's CULTURE CLASH which isn't new, but
explains a lot.
If you know someone looking for a breed other than (gasp) a Basset, try
Chris Walkowicz who is also an AKC Judge's THE PERFECT MATCH-- she discusses
the cons as well as the pros.
If you are interested in "reading your dog" there is a large format
paperback by Brenda Aloff called CANINE BODY LANGUAGE: a photographic guide.
Nigel wanted me to be sure and mention TRACKING FROM THE GROUND UP by Sandy
Ganz and Susan Boyd.
Llewis voted for MaryJean Ballner's DOG MASSAGE
And Conley thought everyone should have copies of THE BASSET HOUND OWNER'S
SURVIVAL GUIDE by Dianne Morgan, and
Carol Lea Benjamin's SURVIVING YOUR DOG'S ADOLESCENCE. He also is a Huge fan
of YOU HAD ME AT AHROO BY Susan Randolph.
I guess my guys like non-fiction.

MomPerson to Nigel the Nose, Llewis (who loves to be comfy) Conley (always
looking for something to do) and Cooper, the scholar.
