[Dailydrool] Thanks to everyone who wrote about Flash Goodbuddy

It's beyond my meager typing skills to reply to everyone's kind words about
Flash GoodBuddy's passing. So I just wanted to say a heartfelt thanks to all
who wrote to me.

We haven't yet been able to go outside to collect Flash's ashes. I did
manage to cover them so they wouldn't blow away. It's too hard. He's been
with me for so long I can still see him out of the corner of my eye.

I try hard to see this as God giving me a Guardian Angel for my birthday.
Flash died just 4 days prior.

There was something so grounding about rubbing my nose against his. he used
to hate it because he was too dignified. I still did it though.. 20 times a
day. It was my Vitamin N supplement. Better than Xanax anyday.

One thing Flash rarely if ever did was snuggle with me. he wasn't a
snuggler. At least he didn't let me know. He was a ninja snuggler. He'd wait
until I was asleep.. then he'd grab a leg and hold on all night.

One night, as I was drifting off to sleep Flash came all the way to the top
of the bed and his head on my shoulder and gave me a nosey right on the lips
and started to saw logs immediately. I never slept more soundly. Insomnia
gone, banished for a night. I slept like a rock.

And so the last thing I did before he drifted off to sleep for the last time
was kiss that beautiful nose. That beautiful big black nose.
