[Dailydrool] The Good Old Days

For those of us fairly new to the Drool, these ARE the good old days.
I can speak only for myself when I say that I have laughed, and cried,
and shared your stories. I feel as if I DO have friends here. The
stories are wonderful; the laughs are hearty, and the tears are real.

I lurk mostly because, sadly, I am not even owned by a basset, but I
grew up with one and I still miss her. These are my heart dogs and the
Drool is my doorway to them and I read it faithfully. I do get my
"fix" with my daughter's basset, however, and I like to think I've
been able to teach her a few things about her 4-legger. And I have
learned so much -- about food, behavior, shows, training,
rehabilitation -- that my friends wonder how I learned so much of what
I advise.

Like any family, there are many personalities; I know which ones I
want to avoid and which ones I miss when they aren't writing. And I am
very skilled at using either the Delete key or the Page Down key.

So, from my perspective I say, "Let the Good Old Days Continue!"

Sadly bassetless Sue, grandslave to Kegger.
