[Dailydrool] Big girls and baby bird

Miss Maggie has taken up hunting or something like that. This afternoon she
caught a baby bird. I wasn't a witness but the DH thinks the bird was ill
or something. Anyway, I think she ate it. We wouldn't let her bring it in
and now it has disappeared. I guess she thought she had done something
wonderful. Right now she is knawing her bone with a vengence. She may
think we are mad at her. We aren't but she is a sensitive girl. I probably
should have taken it but was afraid she would bite. She never is aggresive
unless she has something like the bird.

Sherlock once brought us a rather large rabbit. It was disgusting but he
thought he had conquered the world or the back yard, anyway. He wouldn't
give it to us no matter what we did. He was our fearless rabbit hunter. He
even had a special bark that he gave only when he went after a rabbit. I
sure do miss that old guy.

Marley is still doing well and still on meds. She is her usual crabby and
trolly self. The only thing we notice is that she won't get under the bed
any more. Whatever was hurting was somewhere in the butt area and it must
have really hurt a lot when she crawled under the bed. She sleeps next to
the bed now. She is still our troll, just next to the bed now.

It is so hot here that we all feel like crisps. And it is supposed to be
hotter tomorrow. I hope people will be careful with their pets and
children. Ours will be in basking on the vents most of the day.

We are sending heart healing drool to all the families who have sent their
dear friends to the bridge recently. We know how awful it can be. We hope
that soon the good memories will outweigh the bad. They are your angels
now.

Drool and snooters from Ninja the diva, Marley the troll, Maggie the bird
hunter, and Shelby the sweet old biscuit cruncher The wild kitty boys have
no comment. They are lounging upstairs on the bed. And Julie the mom who
is not fond of of dead baby birds.
