I somehow missed Issue 3..went to the junk mail and just found it a few moments ago...anyhowl

I am so sorry to hear about Quigly...how aweful. I do understand about being so sick and trying to take care of the furbabies. A couple of weeks after I got Colt & Ruger I had an internal cyst rupture...now all you medical folks out there know that the abdomen does not like to have blood in it...at least not outside of blood vessels. I was in so much pain that I could hardly walk and the only way that I could alleviate the pain was to lay in the fetal position the DH (then Boyfriend) was TDY somewhere...Thank doG for my neighbor who can over to check on me and to let the boys out several times a day. I hope that Pat & Craig both recover soon from their illness. I have the boys on special drool production for them both.

Jade & Jasmine, sorry to hear that yor vacuum went down in a blaze of glory. Was it death by killer basset (fur) bunnies? LOL Poor Johnathan must have been scared to death with all that.

Becky, I love you post on how to work at home with a basset. I don't do the hound supporting job from home but when I try to pay bills, read the dd or just surf the internet Colt and Ruger will try to pull the same thing at times. Most of the time they just lay about but usually in the late afternoon they get full of them selves and start demanding attention, dinner, yard time, Kong treat ball time etc. Ahhhh the things we do for our spoiled hounds. Currently they are all laying behind me as i type this...2 hounds and one very large great dane mix.

Michele Momma to the Bad Ass Basset Boys and Rambo (house guest)
Colt "I like being close to my momma"
Ruger "I am neglecting my squirrel patrol post because I have to protect momma from Rambo"
Rambo "I good boy...Auntie Michele don't need protection from me"

Women are Angels...And when someone breaks their wings..They simply continue to fly....on a broomstick...They are flexible like that...
