[Dailydrool] Origami Basset Fundraiser???

In the 6th grade on of my daughter's friend's mother's died suddenly.  She
was Japanese-American, and the class decided to make 1,000 origami cranes
for her memorial.  In the 6 years since then, she's become an origami master
(she can make the cranes with her eyes closed).  Anyway, I was thinking I
could get her to make the bassets, she has boxes of the paper in pretty
colors, for a small donation to some basset cause.  Would anyone be
interested in them?

I know we have a bunch of deserving rescues, a hound who needs new wheels, a
hound with cancer that needs funds (sorry my brain can't fish up names too
well at the moment.)  Anyway, if there is interest, we could do this.

The bassets can be "flattened" for mailing and then popped right back into
shape when they arrive, so they would be cheap to mail.
