[Dailydrool] Lifting Bassets and Pin Cushions

Thanks for the tips/technique on the Basset lifting.  My Scooter is 12 and weighs about 58 lbs.  I ain't young, so this is something I have worried about!  One further question on the lifting technique - if the dog is standing on the ground, do you just bend over to do this or squat?  I'm sure I could pick Scooter up if she were at waist or knee level - I'm a little worried about ground level.

Pin cushions - I got one for a friend and for my sister and they totally raved over them!!  I think I'll have to get some more - it's never too early to start Christmas shopping!
