[Dailydrool] Naughty Bassets

I have to agree, Debbie.  I read all these posts and chuckle because we've
been there, done that....   Katy & Rocco are bassets number four and five. 
The other three have all left for the bridge and are missed every day.  I
have to say though that my first experience with a basset was a real winner.
 We adopted our Missy ATB from the SPCA.  She was a skin and bones stray
with a lot of love to give.  She NEVER forgot that she was a starving girl
at one time.  When we first got home with her, I was thinking what a short
little girl she was.  Anyway, I learned very quickly NEVER to turn your back
on one of them while in the kitchen.  I was making sandwiches for the family
and she cleaned all four sandwiches off the counter in one fell swoop!  She
taught me a lot about dogs.  I used to have Great Danes and I thought I knew
about keeping the counters clear, but I was wrong.
