I get so angry when one of my hounds needs a
prescription. The vets here don't ask, they just hand it
to you with the bill. They mark the drugs up real high and
don't offer a prescription to take it to the drug store.
When Conrad needed Tramadol I found out it was a real cheap
drug. They are allowed to dispense 150 at a time. Each
time they dispense there is a basic charge of $13.00. Okay,
fine. So why then do I only get 25 pills for $13.00 when
they are allowed to dispense 150 and know the hound is on
the drug for long term. I think this is how they make their
money. Your docs that offer prescriptions are saints. You
need to make sure you let them know how much you appreciate
it. Ann
