[Dailydrool] Vaccinations

Snoopy here and our family would like everyone to know that Cyrus too had a 
HORRIBLE reaction to his vaccinations last month and mom thought she was loosing 
him.  First he didn't want to eat (not like Cyrus at all).  By the second day 
she was hand feeding him.  On the third day he wouldn't eat period and then when 
the girls came home from school he was outside and we couldn't get him up.  Well 
.... dadPerson came rushing home from work and managed to get 110 lb Cyrus to 
the car and to the vet and they brought him back home a couple hours later able 
to walk and by the next day Cyrus was able to eat and now Cyrus is fine.  Cyrus 
said they gave him MORE shots of something, but neither he nor dadPerson knew 
what.  It was expensive though, momPerson saw the bill.
 
Cyrus is 6 1/2 and the vet said she said she is NOT giving him shots anymore 
.... and she won't be giving other dogs combinations of shots on the same day 
ESPECIALLY not 3 year rabies and 3 year distemper which is what Cyrus had.  

 
The vet says Cyrus doesn't have to have those shots any more at all because in 3 
years he will be nearly 10 and he is "immune enough" and she can write him a 
note for his license.  Does anybody have any suggestions for helping a sweet 
basset pass for a huge labrador retriever at his next checkup please??
